DO YOU SHOOT FILM OR DIGITAL?

I absolutely love film and will always love the final product that it produces. Film forces me as an artist to slow down and hone in on my craft. There is, however, a time and place for both. I use both mediums throughout your session and wedding and in times where lighting isn’t ideal or where a little one is moving really fast, that’s where digital performs best. I mix both styles throughout the day and deliver a gallery to you that is seamless.

do you have a second shooter?

Yes. For weddings only, I will have a second shooter assist me for most of the day if this is something that we both agree on.This allows me to be in one place and my assistant in another making sure that no moment is left undocumented.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER?

I have been photographing families and weddings for over 16 years. My story is like a lot of other female photographers where we found our love of photography when wanting to capture each and every moment of our firstborn child. 

ARE ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS INCLUDED IN YOUR COLLECTIONS?

They sure are. These sessions are a very important part of the process as it’s usually the only time that I get to photograph the two of you before your big day. I want you to be relaxed and comfortable at your session. You will get a sense of how I direct and pose you and I get to provide you with beautiful engagement photos to show off!

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes! I have covered a lot of the southeast US photographing weddings and now that my littles aren’t so little anymore, I would love to travel more for weddings and sessions.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU BOOK?

HAVE YOU PHOTOGRAPHED AT MY VENUE?

I say that it’s never too early to book one of the most important days of your life! As soon as you know your wedding date, I would reach out because typically weddings book 9-18 months in advance. For sessions, 4-6 weeks is ideal.

During our consultation we can talk more about this, but whether I have or have not photographed at your venue, I have always been completely comfortable walking into new locations. If this is my first time at a venue, I will go to their website and/or social media accounts to try to learn more. And if this venue is close to my home, I will make a special visit to it before your big day. I do always find new locations to be exciting! I will always find the best locations and most beautiful light available for your photos.
